The Main Event
9 Game Best Game Format Unlimited Qualifying. There will be a bank of 12 games and you need to put your best scores on 9 of the 12 games. This is not a card format. You can play as many of the same game as you’d like until you get the score you need to qualify. #1 score on a game will be 100 points. 2nd will be 97. 3rd is 95 and then it goes down by 1 point after that.
This will be an IFPA Certified event with projected 250% TGP!
Qualifying:
Friday Noon to 10pm
Saturday Noon to 10pm
Insignificant ties will be broken by number of 1sts, 2nds, etc. All ties for byes and playoffs will be played on a random game from the Main bank with order chosen randomly before playoffs begin on Sunday morning.
Finals:
Sunday @ 10am, check in by 9:45am
Top 24 make finals with 8 getting a bye.
Finals will be 4 games of match play with scoring of 7-5-3-1. The top seed in the group will have choice of game or position for each game. They cannot pick the same game twice throughout the playoffs until all games have been picked.
In the event that a tie occurs that affects who advances (or occurs in the final round) a tie-breaking game shall occur. The highest seed gets first choice of game or position. Following selections are by seed. The tie-breaking game cannot be one that has already been played by the group in the round.
Players with byes do not have to check in at the start of playoffs. They just need to be there when their round starts. In the event that they are not there when their round starts they will lose any game order selection and their balls will be plunged on any games until they arrive.
